Creamy Noodle Cutlets | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Boiled noodles tossed in cheesy white sauce spread on a tray, freezed cut into cubes and deep fried.

CREAMY NOODLE CUTLETS

Ingredients

50 grams instant noodles, boiled
2 tablespoons butter
1½ tablespoons refined flour
2 cups milk
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
¼ cup grated processed cheese
Oil for shallow-frying

Method

1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, allow it to melt and add refined flour. Stir and mix well. Cook till fragrant, don’t let the colour change.
2. Add milk and cook on high heat while stirring continuously till the mixture is thick, without forming any lumps.
3. Add salt and pepper powder, mix well. Add instant noodles and mix till well coated. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add processed cheese and mix well, cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add the prepared mixture to a greased mithai tray and spread in an even layer.
6. Refrigerate for 4-5 hours. Cut in cubes and shallow fry on high heat till golden brown.
7. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
