Learn how to Make Classic Mashed Potatoes at home with Tarika Singh.

Mashed Potatoes can be an integral part of your meals and Food Blogger Tarika Singh brings to your table the recipe of delicious, creamy, mashed potatoes. And flavors of garlic and butter, this is a sure shot hit.

Ingredients:

1 tbsp butter
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
salt 1 tbsp
500 gms of potatoes
salt to taste
pepper
half a cup milk
parsley (chopped)

Method:

- Melt the butter with minced garlic. (Don't let it brown)
- Heat water in a vessel and add salt to it.
- Add the peeled, chopped potatoes to the hot water to boil.
- Once the potatoes are boiled, take them out on a bowl and quickly mash them up.
- Once the potatoes are mashed, add the garlic and butter (melted earlier)
- Add the chopped parsley and milk to the mashed potatoes.
- Add salt and pepper and milk to the mashed potatoes.
- Garnish the potatoes with chopped parsley and it is ready to serve.
