Corn/Makai Masala | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Corn is in season and let me show you a tasty and nutritious dish that can easily be made at home using fresh Corn.
Ingredients:
11/2 cup Corn
1 chopped Onion
2 pureed Tomatoes
1 tsp Jeera (Cumin)
2 slit Green Chillies
2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Jeera powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
1 tbsp Fresh Cream
3 tbsp Oil
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Method: Heat Oil and crackle Jeera and add 2 slit Green Chillies. Add chopped Onions and saute till pink. Put Ginger Garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. Then add Tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add Chilli powder, Jeera powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric and Salt and saute. To this add the fresh Corn. Pour 1 cup water, cover and cook for 5 minutes or till the Corn is cooked. Put in Kasuri Methi, Garam Masala and Fresh Cream. Serve Corn Masala garnished with Coriander leaves.
