METHOD FOR MAKING CORN FLAKES MIXTURE:
All the ingredients here are not compulsary. Soak green gram in water for 30 minutes. Soak green gram in water for 30 minutes. Deep fry all the ingredients one by one. To a pan, add oil sufficient for deep fry and heat it. Deep fry the flattened rice till they become light brown. Thick falttened rice is preferred over the normal thin ones. Take this mixture into a mixing bowl. Fry groundnuts till they become brown. Fry raisins. By using the strainer, handling becomes easy. Fry cashewnuts till they become brown. Fry cornflakes and add them to the mixing bowl. Fry the noodles and add them to the mixing bowl. Drain the water and fry green gram. Green gram takes longer to fry than the other ingrdients. Fry curry leaves and move them into a plate. Fry green chillies. Grind 10-12 garlic cloves. Add 3 teaspoons chilli powder, 3 teaspoons salt and mix. Mix all the ingredients that were fried. Break the noodles into pieces and mix. Add 3 teaspoons prepared chilli powder, Add one cup roasted channa dal and mix. Taste the mixture and add more prepared chilli powder if needed. Add fried curry leaves, green chillies and mix. Store this mixture in an air-tight container to keep it fresh for 15-20 days.
