This amazing mouth-watering momos stuffed with a sweet, spicy corn filling with lots of cheese which melts and oozes out when you take a bite. A must try for sure!

CORN CHEESE FRIED MOMOS

Ingredients

¾ cup boiled and crushed sweet corn kernels
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
½ cup grated mozzarella cheese
Ready-made dough made using 1 cup refined flour
1 small onion, finely chopped
3-4 green chillies, chopped
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
¼ tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp Tobasco sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
Oil for deep frying
Schezwan sauce to serve

Method

1. Take ¾ cup boiled and crushed corn, add onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese and mix well. Add dark soy sauce, Tobasco sauce, and mix.
2. Add garlic powder, mix and set aside.
3. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion in balls. Roll out each ball into a small thin disc and stuff with a portion of the sweet corn mixture. Seal the edges and shape into momos.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the momos and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Arrange the momos on to a serving plate and serve hot with schezwan sauce.
