Chukandar ka halwa, Chukandar Ka Shahi Halwa, Beetroot Desert Recipe, chukandar dishes, Chukandar Ka Mitha Halva,

Ingredients
Beetroot (चुकंदर ) - 2 ( 300 gms)
Ghee (घी ) - 2 to 3 tbsp
Sugar (चीनी ) - 1/2 cup ( 100 gms)
Cashew nuts (काजू ) - 10 to 12 (finely chopped)
Almonds (बादाम ) - 8 to 10 (finely chopped)
Full cream milk (फुल क्रीम दूध ) - 300 ml
Raisins (किशमिश ) - 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom (इलाइची ) - 5 to 6

How to make Chukandar Halwa

1. Take 2 beetroot,washed peeled and grated.
2. Heat pan, put 2 tsp ghee as ghee melts add chopped dry fruits such as cashews and almonds. Roast well for 1 minute then keep in plate.
3. Pour ghee in a pan, as it melts, add grated beetroot to it. Stir and roast on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Add full cream milk. Mix it. Cover and cook it on low medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes.
5. After 5 minutes, keep halwa open and cook it until dense, keep flame medium. Meanwhile grind and prepare cardamom powder. Meanwhile stir halwa every minute.
6. As the halwa turns dense, add sugar to it, add raisins too. Turn off flame and take out the halwa in a bowl.

Serving :
7. Halwa is dense and ready, garnish with dry fruits to it. As it cools, you can place it in fridge and relish for a week.
