Chocolate Pudding | Easy Homemade Pudding Recipe From Scratch | Kanak's Kitchen

Learn how to make Chocolate Pudding, a delectable dessert with a very easy recipe by chef Kanak.

Chocolate, in any form, is always welcome. Here's chef Kanak who brings in the recipe of extremely delectable homemade chocolate pudding to satisfy the cravings of all you chocoholics out there.

Ingredients:

2 cups of whole milk
1/2 cup sugar (or adjust as per taste)
3 tbsp cocoa powder
100 gms dark chocolate - chopped
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp heavy cream
For garnish:
whipped cream, mint leaves and biscuit roll

Method;

- In a pan, add sugar, cocoa powder, cornflour and salt and mix all the ingredients well.
- Turn on the flame, put it on a medium high heat and gradually add milk in small amounts. Keep adding milk and keep whisking continuously until you see the bubbles forming and the mixture thickens up.
- Keep stirring from low to medium high heat to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
- Once the mixture thickens up completely, add the chopped chocolate to it along with fresh cream and mix well until the chocolate melts in completely.
- Add butter to the pudding and let it melt in. Then turn off the flame. Add the vanilla extract to it and mix well.
- The chocolate pudding is ready. Pour it in the serving glasses or any other container and put it in the refrigerator for few hours until it is fully set.
- Once set, garnish it with some whipped cream on the top along with a mint leaf and a chocolate roll biscuit.
- The delightful chocolate pudding is ready to be served.
