Chocolate Mousse | Not So Junky - by Chef Siddharth | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Healthier version of chocolate mousse made with the use of avocado pulp and almond milk.

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Ingredients

¾ cup chopped dark chocolate
1 large ripe avocado
1 tablespoon sugar substitute
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/3 cup almond milk
½ cup cocoa powder
¼ cup dark chocolate chips + for garnishing

Method

1. Halve, deseed and scoop out the flesh from the avocado in a bowl.
2. Add sugar substitute to avocado and mix well. Strain into another bowl.
3. Melt chocolate in a microwave for 30 seconds. Remove from microwave and mix till smooth.
4. Add the melted chocolate, vanilla essence and almond milk to the avocado mixture. Sift cocoa powder in it and fold well. Whisk to a smooth mixture.
5. Add chocolate chips and mix.
6. Transfer the prepared mixture into individual glasses, garnish with chocolate chips and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
7. Serve.
