CHOCOLATE MODAK

Ingredients

1 cup chopped dark chocolate
4 tbsps butter
⅓ cup condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup grated khoya/mawa
2 tbsps finely chopped walnuts + for garnish
½ cup desiccated coconut

Method

1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan, let it melt.
2. Add chocolate and mix till it melts completely. Add condensed milk, mix and cook for a minute on low heat.
3. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
4. Add khoya and walnuts and mix. Add desiccated coconut, mix and cook till the mixture starts to leave the side of the pan.
5. Take the pan off the heat and transfer into a bowl and allow the mixture to cool completely.
6. Garnish the chocolate modaks with walnuts and serve.
