You never really need a reason to celebrate Chocolate. So as #WorldChocolateDay is right around the corner, I've got 3 recipes lined up for you! If you are a Coconut and Chocolate lover, this Coconutty bar is right up your alley. Making chocolate at home just became easy!CHOCOLATE COCONUT BARIngredients150 grams desiccated coconut¾ cup powdered sugar2 tbsps liquid glucose200 grams milk chocolate mini bars50 grams dark chocolate mini barsMethod1. Heat a non-stick pan, add desiccated coconut and dry roast till lightly golden.Add powdered sugar and mix.2. Add 3 tbsps water and mix till well combined.Add glucose and mix. Take the pan off the heat.3. Transfer the prepared mixture into a greased burfi tray and spread it evenly using an offset spatula. Place a parchment sheet on top and level the mixture using a rolling pin and freeze till set.4. Using an oblong cookie cutter, cut out bars from the frozen coconut mixture. De-mould and place them on a plate. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.5. Take dark chocolate and milk chocolate in a bowl and melt them over a double boiler, mixing in between. Take the bowl off the heat.6. Temper the chocolate by mixing until it reaches 32˚C.7. To make the chocolates, slightly insert fork on one side of each coconut bar and dip in chocolate. Coat well and shake off excess chocolate and lightly slide them on a silicon mat using a palate knife.8. Take remaining melted chocolate in a piping bag and drizzle on top of the chocolate.
