Chocolate Chip Cookies | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Freshly baked cookies studded with chocolate cookies.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients

113 grams butter
100 grams powdered sugar
110 grams brown sugar
187 grams refined flour (maida)
1 egg
165 grams chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
½ teaspoon baking soda

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 175° C.
2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
3. Cream the butter with powdered sugar and brown sugar till smooth.
4. Break egg and add.
5. Dissolve the baking soda in hot water and add it to the batter.
6. Add vanilla essence and gradually add the flour and mix well.
7. Fold the chocolate chips and mix well.
8. Use two tablespoons to put the dough onto a baking tray. Slightly flatten the dough with your hand.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Cool
10. Serve as required.
