Cheesy and chocolaty in each bite, this cheesecake recipe is sinful.

CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

Ingredients

8-10 chocolate cream biscuits
1 cup cream cheese
50 grams butter
1 cup whipped cream
Chocolate ganache for drizzling
Ganache
1 cup fresh cream
1 cup dark chocolate chips

Method

1. Melt butter in a non-stick pan.
2. Grind biscuits into a fine powder. Transfer into a bowl.
3. Heat cream in another non-stick pan.
4. Add melted butter to the biscuit powder and mix well. Transfer the mixture into a non-stick 8 inch spring bottom tin and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes or till the base is set.
5. To make ganache, add hot cream to the chocolate chips and mix till the chocolate melts and comes down to room temperature.
6. Beat cream cheese till smooth. Add half ganache and beat. Add remaining ganache and beat again till well combined.
7. Add whipped cream, gradually, and fold till well mixed.
8. Pour the prepared mixture over the base in the tin, tap and level it out. Refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
9. Demould the cheesecake and smoothen the edges with a knife. Place on a wire rack, drizzle some ganache on top and spread. Serve.
