A scrumptious chocolate pudding that is not just easy to prepare but gets done in no time. Top it with vanilla icecream and enjoy!

EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE PUDDING

Ingredients

1 cup refined flour (maida)
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup castor sugar
2 tsps baking powder
¼ cup melted butter
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
Sprinkling
⅓ cup brown sugar
⅓ cup castor sugar
3 tbsps cocoa powder
Icing sugar for dusting
Strawberry wedges for garnish
Vanilla ice cream to serve

Method

1. Preheat the oven at 180ºC.
2. Take refined flour in a large bowl, add cocoa powder, castor sugar, and baking powder and mix well. Add melted butter and milk and fold till well combined. Transfer this mixture into a baking dish.
3. Mix together brown sugar, castor sugar and cocoa powder and mix well. Sprinkle this over the prepared batter. Pour ¾ cup hot water over the mixture and do not mix.
4. Place the baking dish on a baking tray and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
5. Bring the baking dish out of the oven and dust with icing sugar. Garnish with strawberry wedges.
6. Serve warm with ice cream.
