Chocolate Banana Waffle Sandwich | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Waffles sandwiched with sliced bananas hazelnut spread and peanut butter. A wholesome breakfast recipe.

CHOCOLATE BANANA WAFFLE SANDWICH

Ingredients

Chocolate hazelnut spread for spreading
2 bananas, peeled and diagonally sliced
1½ cups refined flour
¾ cup powdered sugar
1 cup yogurt
¾ cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
Butter for greasing
Peanut butter for spreading
6-8 hazelnuts, finely chopped

Method

1. Combine flour, powdered sugar and yogurt in a bowl and whisk. Add milk and whisk well. Add baking powder and baking soda and whisk to make a smooth batter.
2. Heat a waffle iron and grease it with some butter. Pour a ladleful of batter in it, cover and cook till golden from both sides.
3. Transfer 2 waffles on the worktop. Spread some peanut butter on one waffle and hazelnut waffle spread on another. Place banana slices on hazelnut spread and sprinkle some chopped hazelnut on top.
4. Serve immediately.

Preparation Time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking Time:8-10 minutes
