Choco Lava Cake | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Choco Lava Cake - a dessert that everybody love and makes quite a sensation every time. It's rich, chocolaty, with a gooey molten center, one of the best chocolate treats ever.

CHOCO LAVA CAKE

Ingredients

60 grams dark chocolate, chopped
4 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
¼ cup refined flour
½ tablespoon cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with individual silicon muffin moulds
2. Take chocolate in a microwave proof bowl. Add butter and melt in the microwave for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and mix well till well incorporated.
3. Take eggs in a bowl. Add powdered sugar and whisk using an electric beater till light and fluffy.
4. Sieve in together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and fold. Add melted chocolate and fold well.
5. Pour the batter into individual silicon muffin moulds filling ¾. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes.
6. Demould and serve hot.
