Chinese Breakfast Sandwich Bread Recipe | Christian Has Ideas

If you can't eat it on the street, here's how to make a LEGIT Cai Jiamo: a Chinese breakfast sandwich. In part 1, we're talking breads. I'll show you a recipe for a steamed bread, and a different bread you make in a skillet, both of which are common sandwich breads in China.

Steamed Bread Ingredients:
525g plain flour
11⁄2 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp yeast
50ml milk
300ml water (or more)
1 tbsp canola oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp baking powder

(steam time: 8 - 10 minutes)

Skillet Bread Ingredients:
500g flour
1/2 tsp yeast
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sugar
250ml water
