This cheesy delicious naan with just the perfect amount of heat from the chillies should definitely be on your menu.CHILLI CHEESE NAANIngredients2-3 green chillies2-3 fresh red chillies150 grams Mozzarella cheese block150 grams processed cheese block2½ cups refined flour (maida) + for dusting½ tsp baking powderSalt to taste½ tsp sugar1½ tbsps yogurt ½ cup milk1 tbsp butter, room temperature2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leavesSliced fresh red chillies for garnishSliced green chillies for garnishTomato ketchup to serveGreen chutney to serveSalad to serveMethod1. Sift refined flour in a large bowl, add baking powder, salt and sugar and mix well. Add yogurt and mix, pour milk and knead well.2. Add ¾ cup water and knead to a soft dough, cover with a damp muslin cloth for 10-15 minutes. 3. Finely chop green chillies and red chillies. Set aside.4. Grate Mozzarella cheese and processed cheese in a bowl. Put the chopped chillies and mix. Add butter and coriander leaves and mix.5. Dust a worktop with flour and divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion in a ball. Spread each dough ball into an oblong shape.6. Preheat the oven at 180˚C. 7. Heat a kadai, apply water on one side of the naans and place them on the sides of the kadai with the water side facing down.Carefully flip the kadai upside down and place it on medium heat and cook for 1-2 minutes. Carefully flip the kadai again and remove the naans and place them on a worktop.8. Spread a portion of the cheese mixture on each naan and place them on a baking tray. Bake for 5-6 minutes. 9. Arrange chilli cheese naans on a serving plate and garnish with sliced fresh red chillies and green chillies.
