Chili Chicken Gravy
Ingredients for chicken marination:
Chicken boneless 500g
Corn flour 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Egg 1
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
All-purpose flour 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Ingredients for chili chicken gravy:
Oil 3 tbsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Green chili sliced 4-5
Onion sliced 1 cup
Capsicum sliced 1 cup
Chicken stock 1 up
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Dark soya sauce 1 tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Slurry (corn flour 2tbsp + water cup)
Green onion chopped (as required)
Ingredients for vegetable fried rice:
Oil 2 tbsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Carrot chopped 1 cup
Capsicum chopped 1 cup
Rice boiled 2 cups
Green onion chopped (as required)
Salt 1tsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Directions for chicken marination
1- In a bowl add chicken, corn flour, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, chili
sauce, egg, all-purpose flour and mix it well.
2- Marinate for 15 mins.
3- Deep fry marinated chicken until 80% done.
Directions for chili chicken gravy preparation
1- In a pan add oil, garlic, and ginger and saute for a minute.
2- Now add green chili, fry for a minute, and add fried chicken.
3- Mix it well and add capsicum, onion and mix it well.
4- Now add chicken stock, chili sauce, dark soya sauce, tomato ketchup, and
cook for 2-3 mins.
5- Now add black pepper and cook well.
6- Add slurry and cook for 4-5 mins or until thickens.
7- Garnish it with green onion.
Directions for vegetable fried rice
1- In a pan add oil, saute for a minute, and add carrot, and capsicum, and stir
fry for a minute.
2- Now add boiled rice and give it a good mix.
3- Add salt and black pepper, and mix it well.
4- Add green onion and toss rice well.
5- Vegetable fried rice is ready to serve.
Preparation time: 15 mins
Cooking time 20-25 mins
