Chicken with Curry Leaf Rice Roti
INGREDIENTS:
Dry Coconut Pieces - ½ cup
Chironji - ½ cup
Water - As required
Oil - As required
Cardamom - 4 nos.
Cloves - 10 nos.
Cinnamon - 3 nos.
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 no.
Salt - As Per Taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Tomatoes - 2 nos.
Chicken pieces - 500 gms
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Green chillies - 5 nos.
Mint leaves - 1 bunch
Rice - 2 cup
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Curry leaves (finely Chopped)- 5 tsp
Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Garlic - 10 cloves
DIRECTIONS:
Take a blender add dry coconut pieces, chironji, and add water grind into fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, onion, salt saute it and until they turn slightly transparent.
Then add ginger garlic paste, add the coconut paste, turmeric powder saute it and until all raw flavour is gone.
Now, add tomatoes, chicken pieces, chilli powder, coriander powder, water and add green chillies, mint leaves cook it for 10 minutes with lid closed.
At last, add coriander leaves cook it for a minute. Then switch off the flame.
Take rice paste in a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, finely chopped curry leaves, cumin seeds, green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic, water mix well and make into a chapathi dough rest it for 15 minutes.
Roll the dough like rotis, cook it for both sides by applying some butter. Then transfer into a plate.
