Bite size boneless chicken pieces marinated in a divine chicken tikka mix, fried and served alongside mayo.

CHICKEN TIKKA BITES

Ingredients

500 grams chicken legs boneless, cut into 1 inch pieces
Salt to taste
½ tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg white
1½ tbsps red chilli paste
¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
¼ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder
1½ tbsps hung yogurt
½ lemon
Dried bread crumbs for coating
Oil for deep frying
Mayonnaise to serve

Method

1. Take chicken in a large bowl, add salt, ginger paste, garlic powder, egg white and red chilli paste. Add carom seeds, kasuri methi powder, hung yogurt and squeeze lemon and mix well. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
2. Take dried bread crumbs on a plate, coat each piece with the bread crumbs and set aside.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry each chicken piece till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
4. Serve hot with mayonnaise.
