Chicken Seekh Kabab

Chicken Seekh Kabab is made from minced chicken & spices now make at home on pan. It goes best with mint chutney.

Minced chicken 400 gms
butter 2 tbsp
oil 1 tsp
ginger chopped 1 tbsp
green chilli chopped 4-5
red chilli powder 1 tsp
turmeric powder ¼ tsp
coriander powder 1 tbsp
garam masala powder 1 tsp
salt to taste.
Roasted chana dal ¼ cup
Brown onions 50 gms
Coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder ½ tsp
Lemon juice ¼ nos.


Method
Heat butter in a pan and add 1 tsp oil.
add ginger chopped , green chilli and sauté for 1 mins.
divide the minced chicken into 3 parts and add one part in the pan.
add red chilli powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well.
sauté for 5-6 mins.
Coarsely grind the roasted chana dal in a blender and remove in a blender.
Add brown onions in a blender and add the mixture from the pan along with two spoons of raw mince and coarsely grind.
Add to the bowl with roasted chana dal powder.
Add the remaining raw mince in a blender and coarsely grind.
Add this to the bowl with the mixture.
Add coriander, cardamom, salt, lemon juice, and mix well.
Divide the mixture in equal portions and arrange on skewers.
take little water in your palms and shape kebab.
Heat a tawa and place the kebabs, grill well form both sides until golden brown.
brush little butter on both sides and remove on a seriving plate.
serve hot with green chutney, onion sice and green chilli.
