Chicken Pakoda | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

CHICKEN PAKODA

Ingredients

250 grams boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
6-8 curry leaves, shredded
½ teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf)
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
2 tablespoons rice flour
Green chutney for garnishing

Method

1. Put chicken strips in a bowl. Add green chillies, curry leaves, fennel seeds, crushed peppercorns, salt and ginger-garlic paste and mix well. .
2. Add refined flour and rice flour and mix well. Set aside for 15 minutes.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. .Deep-fry chicken strips till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Garnish with green chutney and serve immediately. .
