Today's menu is (1) Chicken Rice Gratin and (2) Fried Lotus Root. Let me start by satying the chicken rice gratin was soooo delicious! I think the key taste variable was the sauce: spaghetti sauce + Worcestershire sauce!! Sounds quarky but the result was so satisfying. Pair this savory gratin with fried lotus roots. I was so happy with the results of both of these dishes. Will have to make them more often.
