Chenna Jhili recipe is a very popular Orissa dessert. It is a very tasty and moreover it is very easy in making. Chenna is the basic ingredient in many Indian sweet or dessert recipes. Any one will love eating chenna jhili.

Ingredients:
Grated Paneer 1 Cup
Sugar 1 Teaspoons
Cardamom powder 1 Teaspoons
Hung curd 1 Teaspoons
Baking soda 1 Pinch
Wheat Flour 1 Cup
Sugar (for syrup) 1 Cup
Oil To taste

Directions:
1. Take grated paneer in a bowl. Add sugar, cardamom powder, hung curd, baking soda and wheat flour. Knead all the ingredients to make a nice dough.

2. Take water in a vessel and add sugar to it to make sugar syrup as you make gulab jamun syrup.

3. Make small round shape balls or jamuns and deep fry them by continuously rotating in oil.

4. Once they turn brown in colour take them on tissue paper.

5. Drop in these jamuns in sugar syrup as we do for gulab jamun and add cardamom powder in it.

6. Mix them once slowly and let them be soaked for 15 min.

7. After 10-15 min take the jhilis in a bowl and enjoy.
