Cheese Onion Rings is a very crispy and delicious snack. Onions are cut into ring shapes and then thin strips of Cheese are being set between two onion rings. This snack is very easy to make. It does not take much time except the preparation of it takes a little time.

Preparation time - 10 mins
Cooking Time – 20 mins

Ingredient quantity
Rusk(Toast) 6-8 nos
Bread slices 4-5 nos
Onion 1 nos
Cheese slice 2-4 nos
Refined flour 1 ½ cup
Cornstarch ½ cup
Water as required
Oil for frying

Method :
1. In a blender add rusk(toast) and coarsely grind it and transfer it in a bowl , keep it aside .
2. Now take white bread slices , cut the brown edges of it keep it aside
3. Preheat the oven at 70 degree C , take bread slices roughly cut it and place it on tray and allow it to bake .
4. Now take onion , cut it into thick 1 Centimeter roundels and separate the rings of onions .
5. Place a smaller onion ring in the center of a larger one .
6. Now take cheese slices and cut it into even strips .
7. Now fill the gap between the rings with the strip of cheese slice , repeat with remaining onion rings .
8. In a plate place the refined flour .
9. Now take a bowl , add equal quantity of refined flour , corn starch , water and make a thin batter .
10. Now take out the breads from the oven .
11. In a blender add the roasted bread and coarsely grind it , transfer it to the plate .
12. Now take the earlier grinded toast mixture and add it into the bread crumb mixture using strainer .
13. Now take the onion cheese rings , place it in refined flour and give it a coating of it .
14. Now dip it into the batter and give a coating over it .
15. Then give it another coating of bread crumbs .
16. Repeat with the remaining onion rings .
17. Keep it in refrigerator for 10-15 mins .
18. After refrigerating give it a second coating , make the batter to slurry consistency .
19. Heat a oil in deep bottom kadhai .
20. Add the onion rings until golden brown .
21. Once its fried transfer it on absorbent paper .
22. Now transfer it to serving plate .
23. Serve hot along with tomato ketchup .
