Cheesy Chicken Pizza | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Pizza base replaced with deep fried chicken topped with peppers and cheese.

CHEESY CHICKEN PIZZA - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

¼ cup cream cheese
2 tablespoon grated mozzarella cheese
2 boneless chicken legs
Oil for deep-frying
2 eggs
Salt to taste
½ cup refined flour
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups cornflakes
1 green chilli, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped mixed peppers

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180º C.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
3. Wrap chicken legs with a cling film and beat them using hammer.
4. Break eggs in a square glass baking dish. Add salt and whisk well.
5. Combine flour, crushed peppercorns, salt, garlic powder, paprika and onion powder in a bowl and mix. Transfer on a plate.
6. Take cornflakes in a plastic zip-lock bag and coarsely crush using a rolling pin. Transfer on another plate.
7. Dust beaten chicken legs with flour mixture, dip in egg mixture and coat with crushed cornflakes.
8. Deep-fry prepared chicken legs in hot oil for 2 minutes. Transfer on a baking tray.
9. Fill a piping bag with cream cheese and pipe out on top of fried chicken. Put green chilli, mixed peppers and mozzarella cheese on top.
10. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.
11. Cut into pieces and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
