A scrumptious cheesy dish in which the bread slices are coated with a delicious gram flour batter and shallow fried to crispy golden goodness.CHEESY BREAD PUDLAIngredientsGrated processed cheese as required8 white bread slices1½ cups Tata Sampann Fine Besan1 tsp coriander powder½ tsp red chilli powder¼ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste ½ tsp cumin powder2 tsps chopped fresh coriander leavesOil for shallow fryingTomato ketchup to serveMethod1. Take Tata Sampann Fine Besan in a large bowl, add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, coriander leaves and ½ cup water and whisk well. Add ½ cup water and whisk into a smooth batter of coating consistency.2. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa.3. Dip the bread slices into the batter one by one till well coated on both sides and gently place two of them at once on the tawa. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is golden brown and crisp.4. Flip the bread slices and sprinkle a generous portion of grated cheese on one cooked bread slice. Sprinkle dried red chilli flakes and dried mixed herbs and continue to cook till the other side is golden brown.5. Cover the cheesy bread slice with the remaining cooked bread slice and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the cheese melts.6. Diagonally cut the cheesy bread pudla into half and place them on a serving plate.
