चीज़ी ब्रेड पुडला | Cheesy Bread Pudla | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana | TedhiKheer

A scrumptious cheesy dish in which the bread slices are coated with a delicious gram flour batter and shallow fried to crispy golden goodness.

CHEESY BREAD PUDLA

Ingredients

Grated processed cheese as required
8 white bread slices
1½ cups Tata Sampann Fine Besan
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp cumin powder
2 tsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Oil for shallow frying
Tomato ketchup to serve

Method

1. Take Tata Sampann Fine Besan in a large bowl, add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, coriander leaves and ½ cup water and whisk well. Add ½ cup water and whisk into a smooth batter of coating consistency.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa.
3. Dip the bread slices into the batter one by one till well coated on both sides and gently place two of them at once on the tawa. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes or till the underside is golden brown and crisp.
4. Flip the bread slices and sprinkle a generous portion of grated cheese on one cooked bread slice. Sprinkle dried red chilli flakes and dried mixed herbs and continue to cook till the other side is golden brown.
5. Cover the cheesy bread slice with the remaining cooked bread slice and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the cheese melts.
6. Diagonally cut the cheesy bread pudla into half and place them on a serving plate. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
