Chauka Mirchi Green Chlli Fry Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Agar khaane mein spicy touch lana hai toh chauka mirchi toh banti hai. Yeh tradition carryforward karo, iss chatakdaar recipe ke saath.

CHAUKA MIRCHI

Ingredients

150 grams light green chillies, stemmed and chopped
1 tsps fennel seeds (saunf)
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsps oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
tsp asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste

Method

1. Put the fennel seeds and mustard seeds in a grinder jar and grind to a coarse powder.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add asafoetida, and chillies and saut for 2-3 minutes. Add 2-3 tsps prepared powder, coriander powder, dried mango powder, turmeric powder, and salt and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
3. Take the pan off the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Transfer in a serving bowl. Serve.
