Butter Chicken Recipe in Telugu | How to make Butter Chicken | Hyderabadi Ruchulu Chicken Curry

INGREDIENTS
1. Chicken - 1/2 Kg
2. Onions - 1 Cup
3. Tomatoes - 1 Cup
4. Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
5. Coriander Seeds Powder - 2 Teaspoon
6. Cashew Nuts - 7-8
7. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Teaspoon
8. Turmeric Powder - 1 Teaspoon
9. Chilli Powder - 2 Teaspoons
10. Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
11. Salt - 3 Teaspoons
12. Garlic Cloves - 7-8
13. Ginger - 1 Teaspoon
14. Green Chillies - 4
15. Dried Fenugreek Leaves - 1 Tablespoon
16. Butter - 3 Tablespoons

Chicken needs to be marinated first. To a bowl, add cleaned chicken. Add 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon salt and mix. Marinate for 15 to 20 minutes. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Roast marinated chicken and put it aside. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in the same pan. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, cashew nut pieces and fry. Add ginger pieces and fry. Add garlic cloves, green chillies and fry. Add onions and fry for 5 minutes. Add diced tomatoes and cook. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Close the lid and cook till tomatoes become soft. Let it cool down and grind the mixture into a paste. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons butter. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon coriander seeds powder and mix. Add onions tomato paste and mix. Add 1 cup water. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Add roasted chicken and mix. Cook for 5-10 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons cream (optional). Add 1 tablespoon crushed dried fenugreek leaves, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder. Cook for 5 minutes on low flame and serve hot.
