Buko Pandan (Coconut Dessert with Vanilla Ice Cream) | Panlasang Pinoy

Buko Pandan is a delicious Filipino dessert. It is made of young coconut (known in the Philippines as buko), pandan (skrewpine leaves) extract, and table cream. Sometimes, a scoop of vanilla ice cream is placed on top to make it more delicious.

The following are the ingredients used for this Filipinino dessert dish:

young coconut strips, condensed milk, table cream or all-purpose cream, gelatin, water, buko pandan extract, vanilla ice cream, tapioca pearls

Here are the steps:

(01:02) Combine water and gelatin powder. Add buko pandan extract. Stir.
(01:30) Pour the mixture in a saucepan. Let it boil. Turn the heat to off immediately while and continue to stir.
(01:55) Transfer to a glass container. Let it cool down to solidify.
(02:36) Combine milk, table cream, young coconut, and tapioca pearls in a large bowl. Mix well. Refrigerate.
(03:57) Slice the gelatin into cubes. Mix a portion of the gelatin to a portion of the milk mixture.
(05:03) Transfer to a serving bowl or glass. Top with Vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
