Brun Pav | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Enjoy these scrumptious Brun Pavs with a warm cup of tea or coffee.

BRUN PAV

Ingredients

4 cups refined flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsps castor sugar
2 tbsps activated yeast
2 tbsps oil + for greasing
Butter for serving
Masala tea for serving

Method

1. Preheat the oven at 180º C.
2. In a bowl take refined flour, add salt, castor sugar, and mix well.
3. Make a centre in the middle, add activated yeast, mix well. Add sufficient water to make soft dough. Add oil and knead again till smooth. Set aside 10-15 minutes.
4. Dust flour and place the prepared dough. Knead again and divide into equal portions. Shape them into balls and place on a greased baking tray and cover with a damp muslin cloth. Keep them aside for 20-25 minutes.
5. Gently remove the muslin cloth and spray water over the prepared dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
6. Serve along with butter and masala tea.
