BRINJAL CHOP - KATRIKAYA CHOP | Vahchef - VahRehVah

This south indian brinjal is very famous chettinad speciliaty.

Ingredients:
Brinjal 250 Grams
Fennel seeds 1 Teaspoons
Garlic cloves 8 Numbers
Curry leaves 2 Springs
Onion 1 Numbers
Turmeric 1 Pinch
Red chilli powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt To taste
Pepper (crushed) 1/2 Teaspoons
Roasted chana dal 1 Tablespoons
Coriander 1/2 Bunch

Directions:
Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds, crush garlic, curry leaves, chopped onions, turmeric, salt cook this for few minutes. Take out brinjal pieces from water add it to the pan, saute it for few minutes then add red chilli powder mix it and put the lid on, reduce the flame and cook this till the brinjal pieces soft. Add crushed pepper, roasted chana dal mix it well. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve this with curd rice.
