Hello to All, today I’ve shared a very special breakfast recipe of Maharastra, specially in Nagpur, Tari Poha with Jalebi. People love to have it as a breakfast. Though you’re far from Nagpur although you can enjoy this mouthwatering breakfast at your home. Watch this video and prepare it. Here I’ve shown very simple way to make it. Serves:3
Ingredients:
For Tari:
Soaked gram/chana:1 cup
Water:1 ½ glass
Oil:1 tbsp
Onion:1 (1/2 for tadka, ½ for paste)
Tomato:1, small
Green chilli:3(as per taste)
Ginger:1/2 inch
Garlic:5-6 cloves
Mustard seeds:1/2 ts[
Cumin seeds:1/4th tsp
Dry red chilli:2
Curry leaves
Asafetida/hing: pinch of
Turmeric powder: pinch of
Coriander powder:1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder:1/2 tsp
Salt: as per taste
Baby tomato:1
Kala masala:1 tsp(optional)
For poha:
Poha:1 cup
Oil:1 tbsp
Onion:1, médium
Green chilli:1
Mustard seeds:1/4th tsp
Cumin seeds:1/4th tsp
Asafetida/hing: pinch of
Turmeric powder: 1/4th tsp
Red chilli powder:1/4th tsp
Black pepper powder: pinch of
Salt: as per taste
For Instant Jalebi:
All purpose flour(maida): 4 tbsp
Rice flour(chawal ka ata): 1 tbsp
Baking soda: pinch of
Curd: 3tbsp
Turmeric powder: pinch of(optional)
For sugar syrup:
Sugar:1 cup
Water: 1 ½ cup
Food colour: pinch of(optional)
