Bread pakoda chaatPreparation time : 10 mins Cooking time : 20-25 mins Serving : 4 pax Ingredient quantity For batter Besan 1 cup Ajwain 1 tsp Turmeric powder ¼ tsp Red chilli powder ½ tsp Salt to taste Water as required For sweet chutney Water 1 ½ cup Sugar ½ cup Ajwain ½ tsp Lg Hing a pinch Dry ginger powder 1 tsp Fennel powder 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp Dry mango powder 2 tsp Salt to taste Chaat masala 1 tsp For green chutney Coriander leaves 1 bunch Green chilli 2 nos Mint leaves ¼ bunch Ice cubes 3-4 nos Salt to taste Lemon juices 1 nos Chaat masala ¼ tsp For Chaat Boiled potato 1 nos Oil for frying Bread 4 slices Onion chopped 1 nos Tomatoes chopped 1 nos Green chilli 2 nos Coriander leaves 2 tbsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Chaat masala 2 tsp Lemon juice 1 nos Sev for garnishing Sweet chutney 4 -5 tbsp Green chutney 3 tbsp Method : 1. In a bowl , add besan , ajwain , turmeric powder , red chilli powder ,salt , water whisk it nicely , and make a thick batter , keep it aside . 2. Heat a pan , add water , sugar , ajwain , lg hing , dry ginger powder , fennel powder , red chilli powder , dry mango powder , salt , chaat masala and give a nice stir , allow it to cook on a low flame until it turns slight thick . 3. In a blender , add coriander leaves , green chilli , mint leaves , ice cubes ,salt , lemon juice and blend it nicely until thick paste . 4. Transfer the chutney into a bowl , add chaat masala , give a nice stir . 5. Meanwhile , take boiled potatoes , cut it into small cubes , transfer it in a plate , keep it aside . 6. Now give a stir to sweet chutney , once it reaches desired consistency , transfer it in a bowl and refrigerate it for some time . 7. In a kadhai , add oil , allow it to heat . 8. Meanwhile , take bread slices , cut it into small cubes . 9. Now take the prepared batter , dip bread cubes into it , give a nice coating , and drop it in oil . 10. Allow it to fry until its golden in colour , and crispy in texture . 11. Once it fried properly , strain and transfer it over absorbent paper . 12. In a bowl , add fried breads , potatoes , onion , tomato , green chilli , coriander leaves , red chilli powder , chaat masala , lemon juice , sweet chutney , green chutney and mix it well . 13. Transfer it to serving plate , garnish with sev on top . 14. Ready to serve .
