Borough Market London Tour Chef Tips

Borough Market Tour! London is a foodie's paradise, home to more than 100 vendors, markets and restaurants. Because of that, it's a huge tourist destination and something every foodie should visit during a trip to London. The market dates back to the year 1014!

Borough Market hours run 10-5 Mondays-Thursdays, 10-6 Fridays and 8-5 on Saturdays. The best days to visit are Wednesday-Saturday, when all of the vendors are there.

Borough Market food ranges from fresh produce and meats, to delicious stalls cooking up everything from falafels and Jack the Ripper burgers to Scotch Eggs and their famous Borough Market grilled cheese. You can pick up a Borough Market map online at http://boroughmarket.org.uk/map

Some of my favorite Borough Market restaurants are Fish (voted best Fish & Chips in London for 2017) and Tapas Brindisa, a great little Spanish restaurant just across the street from the London Bridge Underground.

It would take you days to try everything, but some of the best food stalls in Borough Market - in my opinion - are Scotchtails for unique Scotch eggs, Khanom Krok for authentic Thai street food, Mountains Boston Sausage for sausage rolls and sandwiches made with Lincolnshire sausage, Nana Fannys for salt beef beigels and falafel wraps, Pieminister for hot British savory pies, and Roast Hog for Tuscan spit roast hog. There are also several vegan and vegetarian options as well!

To get to Borough Market in London, take the Tube to the London Bridge station. Borough Market is located right across the street.
