In hot oil, fry chana dal with mustard seeds, peanuts and curry leaves. Add in salt and turmeric. Add rice and mix well. 2. Add rock salt and chaat masala3. Mix in onions, tomatoes, cilantro and green onions. Mix well. 4. Add in lemon juice and tamarind sauce. Toss everything together and serve warm with a cup of tea.. absolutely delicious.
