Soak kokum petals in 1½ cups of water for 20 minutes. 2. Strain the soaked kokum petals in a large bowl, add gram flour and mix well.3. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, and let them change colour. Add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chilli, garlic, and sauté until golden brown. 4. Add the kokum mixture, 1 cup water, salt and jaggery and mix well. Cook till the mixture come to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cook for 6-8 minutes more. 5.
