Cream Pan, located in Irvine, California, is known for its addicting strawberry croissants and fresh, baked bread. It is also one of the best places to eat in the U.S. At least, Yelp the online business guide says so. The Japanese-French bakery landed at No. 31 on Yelp's list of top 100 places to eat, and is ranked No. 1 in the category of Japanese bakeries.The list, released Feb. 26 2014, was compiled by engineers on Yelp's data mining team and includes everything from holes in the wall to Michelin star restaurants, according to Yelp's blog.Cream Pan, a Tustin mainstay since 2002, was created and is owned by Yoshinori Inada.
