Basan ki Sabzi, Gram Flour Curry, Besan Tamatar Sabzi, Chickpea flour Curry, Besan ki gravy Sabji, turat mangodi sabzi

Ingredients for Besan Guthla Curry
Chickpea flour - 1/2 cup ( 50 gms )
Tomatoes - 2 ( 200 gms )
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Green chilies - 2
Fresh Whisked Curd- 1/2 cup
Mustard oil (सरसों का तेल ) - 2 tbsp
Green coriander (हरा धनिया ) - 2 to 3 tbsp ( finely chopped )
Green Chilies (हरी मिर्च ) - 2 ( chopped )
Cumin seeds (जीरा ) - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida (हिंग ) - 1/2 pinch
Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala (गरम मसाला) - Less than 1/4 tsp
Salt (नमक ) - 1.25 tsp (or to taste)

How to make Besan Guthlon ki Sabzi

1. Take chickpea flour in a bowl, add water in small portions and make dense batter.
2. Once batter is ready add salt, red chili powder. Mix it. Keep batter aside for 10 minutes.
3. Heat a wok, add oil to it. Once hot add cumin seeds. Reduce flame. Add asafoetida,green chili, vertically sliced with seeds removed.
4. Make paste from 2 tomatoes, 2 green chilies and ginger piece. Put in oil.
5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder. Roast the spices on medium flame till oil separates from it.
6. Keep stirring and add whisked curd. Increase flame. Stir and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes till dense. Stir and roast masala until oil separates from it again. Keep flame high.
7. 3 cups water to it, keep flame high. Cook gravy till there is boil.
8. After 10 to 12 minutes have passed, chickpea flour has puffed up. Add batter in the gravy with spoon very slowly. Pour it all.
9. Cook sabzi for 2 minutes then stir it. Add salt, garam masala, Mix it. Cover and cook the sabzi on low medium flame, for 2 minutes.
10. Sabzi is cooked on low flame for 10 to 12 minutes, add green coriander and mix it. Sabzi is cooked well, take out in bowl.
