Spread the love! :)Download our App - http://bit.ly/DownloadIndiaFoodNetworkAppIngredients2 cups Basmati rice4 large potatoes, peeled and cut in half1/2 cup peas1 cup cauliflower, cut into florets 3 tbsp ghee2 tbsp cashew nuts 1 tbsp raisins Salt to taste For the Aakhnir jol:1 Ginger4 tsp garam masala (whole)2 bay leaves 2 Cinnamon sticks1 tsp shah jeera1 tsp red chili powderA few cardamoms1 javitri Method of Preparation- Wash and dry the Basmati rice and keep aside. - Boil the potatoes and other vegetables and fry in oil and keep aside. - For the aakhnir jol: Take the ginger, garam masala, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, shah jeera, javitri, shah marich, cardamoms and boil in water until the liquid reduces. - Sauté the dried rice in ghee and add the aakhnir jol with the water. - When the rice is almost done, add the vegetables and cook. - Garnish with cashews and raisins.
