Bellam Kudumulu | బెల్లం కుడుములు | How to make Kudumullu in Telugu | Vinayaka Chaturthi Special

INGREDIENTS
1. Rice Rava - 1 1/2 Cup
2. Bengal Gram - 2 Tablespoons
3. Grated Jaggery - 1/2 Cup
4. Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon

Rice rava could be made by washing the rice, air drying it and then coarsely grinding the rice
Add 3 cups water for 1 1/2 cup rice rava
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons grated jaggery and let the water boil
Close lid
As water starts boil, add 1 1/2 cup rava and mix
Mix so that no lumps are formed
Close lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame
Cut off the stove and let it sit for 5 minutes with closed lid
Move it into a plate
Add 1/2 cup grated jaggery, 11/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix
Cardamom powder is optional
Wet your palms and roll the mixture into balls of desired size
These need to be steamed now
Spread clarified butter on an idly plate
Add 1 1/2 glass water to the cooker and place the plate inside
Leave the bottom plate empty
Place the prepared kudumulu on the plat
Close lid and for 10-15 minutes on high flame without the weight
Cut off the stove and open the lid after cooker cools down
Sweet kudumulu are ready to serve
