Beans Stir-fry/Beans Mezhukkupuratti - Onam Special Series No 8 | Indian Mom's Kitchen

Here is a simple but tasty dish that finds a place in the elaborate Onam Sadya. Let me show you how to make it at home.

Ingredients:
250 gms French Beans
1/4 cup Coconut pieces
4 slit Green Chillies
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
3 crushed Garlic pods
1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 large sliced onion
Salt to taste

Method: Cut the Beans into 1-inch pieces and add Coconut pieces, sliced Onion, slit Green Chillies, turmeric powder, Salt and 1 cup water and cook till the Beans are done.
In another pan put in Oil and saute the crushed Garlic. Next, add Chilli flakes and the cooked Beans and saute for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and serve Hot. It's that simple.
