Sometimes we need a quick recipe and this is just that! Readymade masala mackerels rolled in spiced flour mixture and shallow fried. BANGDA FRYIngredients4 frozen masala mackerels (bangda)¼ cup semolina (rawa / suji)2 tbsps rice flourSalt to taste¼ tsp red chilli powder2 tbsps oilA few onion ringsA lemon sliceA sprig of fresh coriander leavesMethod1. Mix semolina, rice flour, salt and red chilli plate in a plate.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. 3. Remove the frozen marinated mackerels from the packet and roll in the semolina mixture.4. Put them in the pan and shallow-fry. When the underside turns golden, turn them over and cook the other side similarly.5. Drain and place them on a serving plate.
