Banana Walnut Lassi | Navratri Special | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Banana ad thick yogurt churned together served with a subtle flavour of cardamom.

BANANA WALNUT LASSI

Ingredients

4 bananas
12-16 walnut kernels + for sprinkling
2 cups yogurt
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
A few saffron strands + for garnishing
½ teaspoon green cardamom powder + for sprinkling

Method

1. Put yogurt in a blender jar.
2. Peel and roughly chop a banana and add to the jar. Add walnuts, powdered sugar, saffron and cardamom powder and blend to a smooth paste. Pour into individual glasses.
3. Sprinkle some cardamom powder and crushed walnuts on top. Garnish with saffron and serve immediately.
