BANANA CAKE IN PAN

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas
1 egg
¾ cup castor sugar
½ tsp vanilla essence
⅓ cup oil
1 cup milk
1¼ cups refined flour
3 tsps baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsps brown sugar

Method

1. Break egg in a bowl. Add castor sugar, vanilla essence, oil, milk and whisk well so that all the ingredients are combined well.
2. Sift refined flour, baking powder and salt and mix well.
3. Peel and cut the bananas into slices.
4. Heat butter a nonstick pan. Switch off the heat, Spread the brown sugar evenly and arrange the banana slices on top.
5. Switch on the heat and pour the batter on top. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes. Flip and cook on other side for 10-12 minutes on low heat.
6. Remove cake from the pan and cool to room temperature.
7. Slice and serve.
