Given below are the step by step instructions on how to make Banana Payasam at home.ingredients: 1/2 kg ripe Kerala Bananas1/4 cup Coconut pieces150 gms Jaggery1/2 tsp Cardamom powder2 cups thin Coconut milk1 cup thick Coconut milk3 tbsp GheeFew Cashew nutsFew RaisinsMethod: Heat 1 tbsp ghee and fry the Coconut pieces, Cashew nuts and Raisins till brown. Remove and keep aside.Heat 1 tbsp ghee and fry the cut Banana pieces till they turn soft and golden brown. Cool and grind to a fine paste using 1 cup of thin Coconut milk.Melt Jaggery in 1 cup of water, strain the syrup and keep aside. Heat 1 tbsp Ghee and fry the Banana paste till it starts leaving the sides of the pan. Add the second cup of thin Coconut milk and bring it to a boil.Pour in the Jaggery syrup and mix well.
