Baingan ka Bharta(बैंगन का भर्ता)

Baingan Bharta is just one of the several versions of Eggplant Bharta. The word 'Bharta' refers to dishes in which the ingredients are roughly mashed. Baingan or brinjal cooked directly over the flame till the skin is charred, mashed well and then cooked along with commonly used Indian spice powders. This is one of the famous tasty Punjabi dishes of all time. I hope you will like this.

Ingredients
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
¼ tablespoon Asafoetida (hing)
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoon cooking oil
3-4 garlic
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon jeera powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
¼ tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 finely chopped onion
Fresh coriander leaves
1 chopped tomato
1 teaspoon jeera
2 chopped green chilly
1 fresh brinjal(Eggplant)
