Badusha Recipe in Tamil | Badusha Sweet | Badusha Sweet Recipe

Badusha is a yummy and tasty recipe that could be done in a very short span of time which could win appreciation of many hearts. This has a number of layers inside soft juicy and yummy recipe.

Following are the ingredients to make this tasty badusha recipe:

1/4 kg maida / all purpose flour
1/4 kg sugar for preparing sugar syrup
100 mg butter
2 tbl spoon curd
1/4 tbl spoon baking powder
A pinch of cooking soda
1 tbl spoon sugar
coloured grated coconut
oil as needed
A pinch of salt

Step 1: Take an empty bowl and add the butter to it. Now add the sugar and mix well until they turn out to a fine texture. The more you do this softer will be the badusha recipe.

Step 2: Add cooking soda along with baking powder and salt. At curd to it and knead well.

Step 3: Add flour to this and knead well. The softer you knead the flour you will find more layers in the badusha recipe.

Step 4: Knead well so as to avoid cracks in the dough.

Step 5: Now roll them into a big ball and flatten it on a plate.

Step 6: Cut it at the center of the dough. Take the cut portion and keep it on top of the other layer and start kneading it again.

Step 7: Repeat it few times by cutting and kneading it again to get a softer and layers badusha.

Step 8: Now divide them into lemon size balls and flatten them using your palm and make a dent at the middle. Do this for all the balls.

Step 9: Now start preparing the sugar syrup.

Step 10: Take a bowl and fill it with sugar and pour in water up to immersing level.

Step 11: Keep stirring this until you get the string consistency.

Step 12: Add a little lemon juice to avoid crystallization and keep it aside.

Step 13: Take an empty bowl add oil once it is hot. Add the shaped badushas into it. Fry the badushas in a low medium flame.

Step 14: Flip the badushas such that the other side also turn golden brown.

Step 15: Badushas are now ready transfer them into the sugar syrup. Let this stay in the syrup for another 10 minutes

Step 16: Badushas are now ready to be served. Transfer them to a plate and relax and enjoy the delicious yummy and tasty badushas.
