BADAM NANKHATAI

Ingredients

10-12 Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds (badam)
Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds, halved for garnish
cup refined flour
cup gram flour
+ 1/8 cup powdered sugar
tsp baking powder
A pinch of baking soda
A pinch of green cardamom powder
+ 1/8 cup ghee

Method

1. Preheat the oven at 180C
2. Chop Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds finely.
3. Sift refined flour, gram flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda and green cardamom powder in a bowl.
4. Add chopped almonds, ghee and mix well.
5. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls , flatten each ball to make a thick disk.
6. Arrange on a baking tray and place halved almonds on each disk.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
8. Allow to cool. Store or serve.
