It's ridiculously easy if we can get store bought canned and boiled Garbanzo beans of Channa. I have used Canned Beans in my recipe; however we can soak overnight and pressure cook the Chana too and proceed with my recipe.Ingredients:Boiled Kabuli Channa/Garbanzo beans - 1 canTomato puree - ½ cupOnions - 1 mediumGreen chillies - 2Ginger - ½ an inchJeera - 1 tspMustard seedsAniseeds/saunf - 1 tspAsaefotida - 1)2 tspturmeric powder - 1/2 tspSambar powder - 1 tsp or more to tasteSalt to tasteOil for cookingMethod:Chop onions, green chillies and ginger and keep asideIn a pan, splutter mustard seedsThen add jeeraNext add saunfNow add the chopped ginger and green chilliesSauteAdd the chopped onions and stir fry till translucentNow add the tomato pureeAdd the sambar powder and saute everything together over medium flameAdd water and let everything cook togetherAdd salt to tasteNow it's time to add the boiled ChannaLet everything cook together, coveredAfter 10 mins or so, garnish with fresh coriander leavesEat the yummy Bachelor's Channa with a bowl
